The 2016 Barolo Mosconi is a gorgeous wine made all the more remarkable given that Mosconi can't really be said to be a top-level site
but it has more of a tannic spine and greater overall structure
comparing it to the 2017 it does not quite have the same tension and mineralité
Lagrange (Saint Julien) other_regions but this is still verySome rather appealing graphite on the nose. Lots of fruit on the front palate really a rather unusual amount. Still quite a marked charge of tannin. But all seems to be in the right place and proportion. Clean, brisk finish. GV
